Plastics in the spotlight at exhibition

DORRIDGE Methodist Church will be holding an exhibition of the many types of plastic that we all use on a daily basis, and frequently do not know, or possibly care, where we can recycle these items when we have finished using them.

DORRIDGE Methodist Church will be holding an exhibition of the many types of plastic that we all use on a daily basis, and frequently do not know, or possibly care, where we can recycle these items when we have finished using them.

A similar display was held last year with considerable success, attracting many people who went away saying that they now understood the problem better, and would try to put their new found knowledge into effect.

SMBC will be making changes to their collection arrangements from our doorsteps in September whereby more recyclable items will be collected from us on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

It is hoped that more details of these arrangements will be available at the time of this display which will be held in the church hall, in Mill Lane , Dorridge, from 9.30am to 1pm next Sunday, June 7.

All are welcome to visit the display, and then hopefully put into practice what they have learned.
