Tennis players from across the region are gathering at Blossomfield Tennis Club to raise money at a sponsored doubles tournament in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care at the Blossomfield Club this Sunday September 27, at 2pm .

All players are welcome to join in and take part in the match to help provide nursing care at home for terminally ill people at the end of their lives.

The teams will be participating in Marie Curie Cancer Care’s ‘Anyone for Tennis’.

The tournament calls on tennis fans of any age or ability to play their favourite game to help terminally ill people spend their final days surrounded by the people they love the most.

Claire Williamson, head coach, said: “We will have a fantastic time and we are delighted to raise funds too.
