Solihull Council is looking for some green-fingered volunteers to help get one of the borough’s parks ready for Britain in Bloom.

With the regional judging taking place next week, the Council’s Environment Champions will be sprucing up Tudor Grange park a week on Wednesday, July 14, from 10am to 2pm and extra pairs of hands are most welcome.

The Champions will meet at the car park next to the pitch and putt area of the park. All necessary equipment will be provided, just wear suitable clothing for the day’s weather and bring along a drink and something to eat.

For more information e-mail environmentchampions@solihull.gov.uk or phone 0121 704 6534.
