Plea to find Dog

A local lad and his mum are appealing for the safe return of their missing family member, Dog.

Cuddly pal Dog, who belongs to Max Humpherston, aged seven, was taken from the Shirley branch of McDonalds on the Stratford Road last Friday April 9 during the afternoon. The toy dog was momentarily left on a ledge while Max went to get an ice cream and when he got back, his best friend had disappeared. The CCTV in store shows a small hand reaching up to take Dog but a search of the premises and bins has proved fruitless.

Dog is approximately 10cm tall with white and light brown colouring, he is a little scruffy as he is quite old but his owners would dearly love to be reunited with him.

Michelle Humpherston said: “He went everywhere with Max, from when he was tiny and he has been absolutely distraught since we lost him.”
