SOLIHULL police are keen to finger the collar of a well dressed couple who have fleeced local stores out of thousands of pounds worth of designer leisurewear.

SOLIHULL police are keen to finger the collar of a well dressed couple who have fleeced local stores out of thousands of pounds worth of designer leisurewear.

The smartly clad duo have struck at both sports and clothing stores in Touchwood and Mell Square several times since Christmas.

They are also wanted in connection with thefts at stores in both Birmingham and Worcester.

The pair have a preference for high value jackets and hit quickly, often spending less than a minute in stores before making off with items.

PC Claire Butler of the St Alphege Neighbourhood Police Team confirmed: “The man has always been spotted well dressed, whereas she’s carried out thefts both dressed smartly or wearing jeans and a top.

“Some of our local retailers have been hit hard by this pair and we’re keen to identify and arrest them as soon as possible”.

The man is described as white, around six foot tall with short mousy brown hair.

He has distinctive bags under his eyes.

She is said to be 5ft 5ins tall with blonde shoulder length hair - however it’s believed she regularly dyes her hair colour.

Anyone who thinks they recognise them is asked to contact Solihull Police on 0345 1135000 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
