POLICE want to question this teenager about a “despicable” attack that left a young woman with a broken jaw.

The 20-year-old victim was attacked in Conway Road, Chelmsley Wood, as she walked home after seeing in 2013 with friends.

West Midlands Police said a group of up to eight teenagers hurled abuse at the woman and her friends before she was wrestled to the floor and kicked in the face.

She suffered a fractured jaw and needed extensive facial surgery which involved having two metal plates in her face.

Two of her friends, both 16, were also repeatedly punched.

The force issued CCTV of a suspect relaxing in a fast food restaurant the day after the attack, which happened at 5am on New Year’s Day.

He was aged 16 or 17, of slim build, around 5ft 6ins tall with closely-shaven hair. He wore a black puffer jacket.
