TO FOLLOW up Bill Drews’ letter regarding the Solihull hospital. I too would like to say five weeks ago my husband was taken into Acute Medical Ward.
What can I say only that everyone from the moment we entered was just brilliant to us both, they did everything possible to ensure my husband was comfortable, nothing was too much trouble for them. Kind and friendly even late in the evening it made us feel secure.
He has been there ever since and we cannot fault them on anything at all, later he was moved up to Ward 18 and again they were grand with him, the ward fresh and spotless and remains so.
My husband has Parkinson’s Disease and cannot do anything himself but was quickly made comfortable. Even years ago I broke my leg in three places, I was in there for two weeks and had the same attention from the dedicated doctors, nurses and other members of staff.
