JANE Austen’s classic is brought to life by a superb cast in this unmissable stage adaptation.
The famous tale follows Elizabeth Bennet and her sisters as they attempt to find love in the 19th century.
The charming Bennet family are expertly cast with Julie Lloyd hilarious as the hysterical but well-intentioned Mrs Bennet who is desperate for her daughters to marry well, perfectly paired by Alan Bull’s dignified yet warm Mr Bennet.
Both condescending Caroline Bingley (Taylor Howson) and terrifying Lady Catherine de Bourgh (Susan Lynch) are excellently portrayed, and Lee Davies also deserves a special mention as the dull Mr Collins.
But it was Matthew Hopkins’ dark and dashing Darcy and Hannah Parker’s intelligent and loving Elizabeth who stole the show.
