PEOPLE have the chance to find out how Heartlands Hospital uses feedback from patients, visitors and the local community on improving services, at a seminar on Tuesday.
The Hospital’s patient and public involvement manager, Jamie Emery, will discuss the role of the patient advice and liaison service (PALS) and how the hospital uses community groups to ensure patients receive the best treatment. Those attending the talk will also be encouraged to give feedback on their experiences and to ask any questions.
Organiser of the health seminar, Heartlands membership manager, Sandra White, said: “People have always asked how we know patients are happy with their stay in hospital, so we decided to put on this seminar for locals. It’s a chance for the public to see the various ways we measure patient experience and, if they want to, get involved.”
