For the 2011/12 school year, 157 people applied to the Greswolde Road school, which had just 30 places available for pupils.
Kineton Green Primary, in nearby Olton, is also proving popular - with 4.76 applicants for every place in the reception class.
Hatchford Brook Junior and Infants, in Elmdon, and the rural-based Berkswell CofE School come third and fourth on the list.
From the top ten - Blossomfield Infant and Nursery received the most applications overall (201).
But with 60 places available, competition is slightly less fierce - 3.35 applicants for each one on offer.
Mill Lodge Primary, Streetsbrook Infants and Nursery, Knowle CofE, Langley Primary and St Augustine’s Catholic Primary round-off the top 10.
