GREEN-fingered pupils will be designing and building a special plot for this year’s Gardener’s World Live show.

GREEN-fingered pupils will be designing and building a special plot for this year’s Gardener’s World Live show.

The team of schoolchildren will be working with Solihull Council to create the patch - which will take a prime spot at the NEC roadshow. The theme of the garden is Alice in Biodiversity Land - taking inspiration from the recent Tim Burton film.

Coun Kate Wild, cabinet member for community services, said: “This garden is a wonderful project that will bring together lots of the borough’s young people and give them some great experience of working with professionals to make their plans a reality.”

If any experts would like to lend a hand then they should call Trish Willetts, environmental champion co-ordinator, on 0121 704 6534.
