WHEN Nadia Davies gets married on Friday she'll discover just how good she is at her job.
That's because the person performing official duties at her Solihull Registry Office ceremony has spent the last eight months being trained in customer service - by Nadia!
The 27-year-old bride-to-be works as an NVQ Assessor with Solihull College and will have her future happiness sealed by 'pupil' Linda Ward, Superintendent Registrar with Solihull Council.
The pair have worked together since Linda enrolled on the NVQ Level 4 programme in Customer Service at the college.
Linda, aged 52, said she was looking forward to the ceremony almost as much as the bride.
"This will be my way of giving Nadia something back for all the support she's given me."
"The NVQ programme teaches you how important customer service is, how not to be complacent and how to always look forward - I'm sure this will come in handy during the ceremony."
Nadia, who is marrying fiancé Marcus Davies, added: ""It has been an absolute pleasure to work with staff at Solihull Register Office.
"Their commitment, passion and enthusiasm is inspiring.
"I was thrilled to hear that Linda will be conducting our ceremony and I can't wait for the big day!"
