ELDERLY residents at Sunrise Senior Living of Solihull celebrated the launch of their new assisted living suites with a champagne reception.
Mayor of Solihull, Coun Ken Hawkins, and Mayoress Janet Hawkins, officially opened the new suites last Friday (September 28) with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the nursing home. The suites already have already got their first happy resident, 99-year-old Doris Brown, who was guest of honour at the reception.
General Manager at Sunrise of Solihull, Mike Dearn, said: “The reception was a huge success. We would like to thank the Mayor and Doris Brown for taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony, and are looking forward to welcoming other residents to the new suites.”
