AN intrepid university student from Solihull is set to scale some rather dizzying heights when she tackles Africa’s highest peak for charity.

Daily walks and trips to the gym are just some of the fitness techniques that 20-year-old Robyn Moriarty is employing as she prepares to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Childreach International in September .

Robyn, from Hockley Heath, is hoping to climb the peak within six days and will be joining a group of 36 similarly-minded adventurers as well as two leaders for the challenge.

The Nottingham University student said: “The charity is a voluntary organisation that works hard to provide communities in developing countries with the resources they needed to pull themselves out of poverty.”
