ROSE Gardner, who lives in Solihull, was recently invited to lunch at The Hub Westminster, where she met HRH The Prince of Wales. The lunch was a result of Rose winning one of the Game Changers awards initiated by Business in the Community (BitC) and Wates, a former BitC Company of the Year.
The one-off awards recognise individuals who have made a demonstrable contribution within their organisation. Rose, corporate responsibility manager at RWE npower, was judged to be an advocate of responsible business.
Rose, who lives in Knowle, said: “The award is not just mine. I believe responsible business is everyone’s business; we all have a role to play. What I enjoy most about my work is being able to engage with colleagues and help them to understand the important part they play in the company’s corporate responsibility strategy.”
