INSPIRED by brave Sheldon schoolboy, Harry Moseley, a group of friends are taking part in a cycling event to raise funds for research into brain cancer.

Now father-of-one Brian Bennett and friend Mel Castle have launched the Cycling for Harry event which will take place on May 12 and 13. It will see 27 friends cycle over 100 miles in two days - from Blakenhale School to Wembley Stadium raising over £10,000.

Among those taking part will be Harry’s mother Georgie and brother Louis, aged 15, and former Birmingham City footballer Michael Johnson.

Brian, also from Sheldon, said: “Originally I announced it on Facebook to just a few mates, but it quickly became a larger group. We’ve had fantastic support from individuals and local companies.”
