Guests at Touchwood were recently greeted by the arrival of a very special guest as Santa Claus flew into the centre.
Marking the opening of his free Christmas grotto Santa and his reindeer landed at Touchwood’s Manor Walk where he was greeted by local children.
They were also able to experience what it is like to sit in the driving seat of the sleigh as they hopped aboard and sat alongside Santa for a photograph, in return for a donation to local charity Solihull Life Opportunities (SoLO).
And to put guests in the festive mood local choir Cantamus was also on hand to perform a host of seasonal songs while some of Touchwood’s top restaurants dished up festive food samples.
Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, said: “We would invite anyone who was unable to see Santa on the day to come along to the centre and visit his grotto.”
