YOU published a letter from me asking for some answers about what caused the climate to change and brought about the Ice Age 10-12,000 years ago. Also what caused the climate to change again to warm up and make the ice retreat.
I have waited in vain for our so-called climate change experts to offer me an answer. It has fed my belief that they and Friends of the Earth, Greens etc just haven’t a clue other than to blame carbon dioxide emissions from cars, planes and other forms of transport plus coal-fired power stations.
Which leads me to ask: Does anyone really know if there was a human population at the time of the Ice Age? If so how many were there and what happened to them? There has been no evidence of humans until about 5,000 years ago, no mass graves, nothing preserved in ice (like that baby mammoth they have discovered intact).
The other question is where does all our oxygen we breathe come from? Our scientists say it comes from our forests and the vegetation after it absorbs the carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and yet South American and African countries are cutting down thousands of trees.
It is estimated that the earth’s population is seven to eight billion people and countless millions of oxygen breathing animals, with every breath taken expelling carbon dioxide.
So if all those who wish to save the planet, especially politicians, should stop breathing out immediately that will also help their carbon footprints no end.
