Pop along to Lapworth to spot an array of weird and wonderful figures as the village’s annual Scarecrow Festival gets underway.
Over the weekend of September 17-18, residents of Lapworth, Rowington and Lowsonford will compete to create the best scarecrow within this year’s theme of Myths & Legends.
As well as a craft fayre, festival visitors will be able to enjoy tea and cakes, a BBQ, pony rides, bouncy castles, merry- go- rides, mini children’s train, human subbuteo, live music, a bar and more.
The festival welcomes the public to the village between 12-6pm on Saturday and 12-5pm on Sunday.
The awards aeremony takes place at 6pm on the Sunday at Lapworth Village Hall.
All profits will be shared amongst the various organisations that support and educate the local community.
