Extra vehicles will be provided .

Residents who normally have their refuse collected tomorrow Friday (January 8) should have their waste collected as normal.

If the main service cannot be provided, the council say they will arrange for smaller vehicles to transport waste not in wheelie bins to larger vehicles on the safer routes.

Decisions on collections for next week (January 11 onwards) will be taken following a full review of weather conditions tomorrow.

Residents should continue to check Solihull Council’s website www.solihull.gov.uk for further information, or call 0121 704 6000.
