A Lapworth businesswoman and her partner have received a boost from TV Dragon Theo Paphitis after the pair were selected as the stars Small Business Sunday winners.

Emma Fear, aged 34 and from Lapworth and Sally Hall, aged 36, run online shopping boutique Dorothy and Theodore.

After entering Theos initiative, the business was chosen by the entrepreneur to be re-tweeted to over 250,000 of his followers and to have their profile added to his new website.

The friends have been in business less than a year after launching the company at Earls Court Baby Show in October.

It is great to have received this support from Theo. It has been tough trying to raise our profile and Theo has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following, said Emma.

We feel very privileged and honoured to have been noticed by such an esteemed businessman.

The duo have also been nominated for two National Mums in Business Awards and are awaiting the results of the Mumpreneur UK awards.
