Solihull faces feature in new police "rogue's gallery"

POLICE have published a “rogue’s gallery” of suspects wanted in connection with crimes across the region.

POLICE have published a “rogue’s gallery” of suspects wanted in connection with crimes across the region.

It’s hoped that uploading headshots to the West Midlands Police website will allow officers to trace more quickly individuals linked to a range of serious offences.

Four suspects from Solihull are among the faces to feature in the force’s new “wanted list” - which launched this week.

They are Isaac Doherty, 37, suspected of violent disorder, Grant Gold, 20, suspected of burglary, Oliver Higgins, 25, suspected of car theft, and Richard Larcombe, 27, suspected of wounding and wanted for recall to prison

Superintendent Dave Walker, from Solihull Police, said: “We’re hoping to speed up the arrest process by asking for the public’s support to identify wanted people.

“The support we received from our communities following last August’s riots – when we asked for help to name looters and rioters caught on CCTV – was overwhelming with the public’s calls in to us directly leading to many arrests and convictions.”

Those featuring in the library of wanted faces include people forensically linked to crime scenes and suspects that have skipped bail or breached licence agreements.
