A SOLIHULL construction firm which diversified into egg printing and poultry supplies has had a great Easter.
RSB Nationwide Ltd now says it expects to double its annual turnover this year thanks to working with Birmingham business advisory firm, Smith Cooper, to boost sales.
The company, founded in 2004 broadened its offering by buying a poultry services company which initially installed and serviced egg printing machines across the UK.
As RSB Poultry Services, the business has worked with Smith Cooper to expand into egg printing equipment sales and customer care, and has become the UK agent for poultry housing equipment spares which has seen the business go from strength to strength.
Through increasing demand for egg printing services, the business expects to double its annual turnover to £1 million over the next 12 months whilst doubling staff number to eight.
The construction arm has also experienced strong growth. It has developed into a full-service domestic and commercial building operation covering major projects across the wider Midlands region, including the refurbishment of a large country house, building new apartment blocks and completing projects at Severn Trent Water.
To accommodate the growing breadth of its offering, the business has re-branded to RSB Group (UK), incorporating both the construction and poultry services divisions.
James Hignett, managing director at RSB Group (UK), said: “We are an ambitious business and strong growth forms a major part of our business plan.
“Smith Cooper’s guidance has been invaluable, and as we continue to develop RSB Group further, we will be working with the firm to ensure we make the most of all opportunities available to us to hit our £1 million turnover goal in 2013.”
