Solihull gears up for Red Nose Day

SOLIHULL is raring to go for this year’s Red Nose Day with a host of charity events this weekend.

SOLIHULL is raring to go for this year’s Red Nose Day with a host of charity events this weekend.

TK Maxx, the official retailer of Red Nose Day t-shirts, is holding a charity raffle on Saturday, with prizes such as signed football and tickets from Aston Villa, local store gift vouchers and more.

And last weekend, staff rode the length of the Thames on in-store exercise bikes.

“It was going to be Lapland before we realised quite how far that was,” said team leader Georgina Stockhall.

The Lazy Cow bar and restaurant are holding a Red Nose Day party tonight (Friday) where guests are encouraged to come wearing red, while several brave locals are taking part in Broad Street’s Hampton by Hilton hotel charity abseil.
