Solihull man in court on burglar charge.

THE son of former Birmingham City manager Trevor Francis last week denied burgling a cottage owned by ex-Villa player Lee Hendrie.

THE son of former Birmingham City manager Trevor Francis last week denied burgling a cottage owned by ex-Villa player Lee Hendrie.

James Francis, 24, of Chancel Court, Solihull, pleaded not guilty to stealing from the Rowington home last summer.

He’s accused of taking a whole range of items including golf clubs, designer clothes and jewellery from the £1.7m estate.

Warwick Crown Court granted Francis unconditional bail and the case was adjourned for trial, to begin on October 8.
