THE Crown Carvery in Shirley is treating Diamond couples to a free meal to mark the Queens Jubilee.

The Plume of Feathers on Stratford Road is offering a free carvery between Monday, June 4 and Saturday, June 9 to those celebrating 60 years of marriage.

Adrian Bates, manager of the Plume of Feathers said: Any 60 year anniversary is quite an achievement; and while our guests cant profess to 60 years as the UK's Head of State, we are confident there are lots of other gems in our community who are celebrating a diamond milestone of their own this year, 60 years of marriage.

All couples who got married in 1952 need to do is pop into their local Crown Carvery and present their wedding certificate along with a current form of ID to a member of staff.
