SOLIHULL Junior School pupils have been proving that they really do have a heart, after raising over £1,000 towards reducing cardiac deaths among young people.

The pupils handed over a cheque for £1,100 to CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) at their Jeans for Genes Day.

The school hosted a successful screening day last year in support of CRY, which raises awareness of conditions that can lead to sudden cardiac death in young people.
