A DOZEN young performers have been handed the chance of joining chart-topping artist Plan B on stage at the LG Arena tonight.
Students from Solihull Stagecoach have been selected to perform in front of thousands of people at the local date of the rapper’s arena tour.
Jennifer Pando, principal of the theatre school, said it was a fantastic opportunity for the young people picked to take part in the routine.
“They’re absolutely delighted,” she said. “Obviously Plan B is very current, very popular at the moment.
“He’s been looking for local students to take part in the different dates of his tour and we were so pleased when they said they’d like to have us.”
One student who’ll be performing is Richard Haddock, aged 22, from Shirley: “Jenny texted me when I was in the middle of a shift at Sainsbury’s, I thought she was joking at first,” he said. “I told her to put my name down straight away. I love Plan B, his songs are just beautifully written.”
