A 22-year-old woman has been told she must pay back over £2,000 of benefits she was not entitled to claim.

Leonie James, of Willow Way, Chelmsley Wood, pleaded guilty to dishonestly producing false statements between July 12 2010 and November 17, 2010 and producing a false statement on October 22 to obtain housing and council tax benefit.

James was sentenced at Solihull Magistrates Court on Monday to a 12 month community order with the condition that she does 60 hours unpaid work.
