Solihull youngster graduates as Barclays apprentice

SOLIHULL youngster Mitchell Brunt has just graduated as one of eight apprentices with Barclays and has been offered permanent, full time work at the bank.

SOLIHULL youngster Mitchell Brunt has just graduated as one of eight apprentices with Barclays and has been offered permanent, full time work at the bank.

Antony Jenkins, Barclays Group chief executive said: “The apprentices have done a fantastic job. We are delighted to reward their efforts with permanent jobs and look forward to continuing to support them to develop their careers and look forward to many more following in the future.”

Speaking at the graduation ceremony Mitchell said: “Getting the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship with Barclays has changed my life. Not only has it given me financial independence, it has also helped grow my confidence and develop skills.”
