SOLIHULL’S 14th Beer Festival kicks off next weekend.
The popular event, sponsored by Shirley-based Whitworth Brewery, will be held at Solihull Royal British Legion, in Union Road from October 5-6.
Over 35 unusual ales will be on offer including the ‘quaffable’ Purple Moose Snowdonia Ale and ‘robust’ Wentworth Vanilla Stout. The festival has even commissioned its own ale for the occasion, brewed by Tunnel Brewery in Nuneaton, using hops grown in a festival organiser’s garden.
Open from 5.30pm-11pm on Friday and 12noon-11pm on Saturday, entry to the beer festival is £10 which includes refundable beer tokens and deposit on a festival commemorative glass.
All are welcome.
