WITH growing evidence that general health can be affected by the standard of daily oral hygiene routine, Blossomfield Complete Dental Care have decided to offer some advisory sessions to those groups who it feels would benefit the most.
These include pregnant women, people suffering with heart conditions and diabetics.
The first sessions will be for pregnant women, the first being on February 25. It is a two-hour session which is being held by Jenny Ison, one of the practice’s hygienists.
The sessions are for no more than ten people and a variety of subjects will be covered, including coping with morning sickness and brushing your teeth, indigestion and remedies, oral development of the baby and caring for the baby’s teeth.
There are refreshments provided and goody bags for each participant. People do not have to be a member of the practice to attend the sessions. At the moment the sessions are planned for once a month but depending on popularity they may be increased.
For further information or to book into one of the sessions contact the reception team at the Blossomfield Road practice on 0121 711 6939.
