HISTORY came alive for Year 8 pupils at Tudor Grange School when they held talks and workshops on the Holocaust.

The day was designed to consolidate their work in English on the Boy in Striped Pyjamas and their studies in History on the rise of the dictators.

Pupils first had a talk from Rudi Oppenheimer, a Holocaust survivor then a session from the Holocaust Memorial Trust before tackling the question ‘Is the Holocaust too serious for entertainment?’
