WORLD cup winner and present England rugby manager Martin Johnson will return to his stomping ground in April.
The former Leicester Tiger and cult England hero will be one of the guest speakers at an exciting event held at Sharmans Cross Road - home of Birmingham and Solihull Bees RFC.
Johnson, who was born in Solihull, returns with current English and Irish internationals Lewis Moody and Geordan Murphy.
As well as enjoying an afternoon of fine dining, Johnson will give a unique insight into the inner-workings of club, country and world cup rugby success.
The event on Friday April 24 comes just one day before Bees’ final game of the season - a potential title-decider against rivals Redruth.
Birmingham & Solihull’s commercial manager Robin Eaves said he is looking forward to the event.
“We’re delighted to be welcoming Martin, Lewis and Geordan to Sharmans Cross Road for what will be both an engaging and inspirational event,” he said.
“These legends of the game will be kicking off what we hope will be a fantastic end of season finale for the club.”
