STILLBIRTHS in Solihull and Birmingham have dropped by 38 per cent since 2009, new research has revealed.

STILLBIRTHS in Solihull and Birmingham have dropped by 38 per cent since 2009, new research has revealed.

The West Midlands Stillbirth Report found the rates of stillbirths in the West Midlands were at the lowest level in 50 years, with 5.02 stillbirths per 1,000 births in the region in 2011.

It’s the first time the area has fallen below the national average for stillbirth numbers.
