STEPPING out for charity were students from Tudor Grange School who raised £300 for Macmillan cancer research with a sponsored run.
The Year 8 pupils undertook the challenge as part of their Skills and Service course (SAS) and organised the event including producing publicity, collecting sponsorship and a training schedule.
Teacher Simon Bennet said: “The pupils have shown a lot of responsibility and excellent team work in organising the event. It was a cold and wet day for the run but they just kept going and showed great spirit and perseverence. They can be proud of their achievement”.
