A SPECIAL event is to take place in Solihull – offering women help and support about the seldom tackled topic of ‘the menopause.’
Jacky Lawrence – founder of Your Exchange Network – has arranged an evening aimed at helping women who are going through the menopause to find support, friendship, and solutions, at what can be a notoriously difficult time for them.
Solihull businesswoman, Jacky, said: “The menopause can be a terrible time, with so many psychological, and physical problems. It doesn’t just affect those going through it, but their families, and friends, as well.”
Using her own experiences of a difficult menopause, Jacky, aged 58, has arranged an evening where there will be a meaningful talk on the subject – as well as a series of exhibitors from the world of beauty, and holistic therapy. The event takes place on Thursday, March 3, at the Forest Hotel, Station Approach, Dorridge, starting at 6pm, and costing £5 – with proceeds from the raffle going to The Edward’s Trust charity.
“It should be a wonderful evening, of fun and pampering, and more importantly give out the message to those going through the menopause that they are not alone – and that we are here to have fun, and help each other!” added Jacky.
