SOLIHULL mums and dads will be given the opportunity this Saturday, April 4, to swap new and gently used baby and toddler items whilst enjoying a few pampering treats....babysitter not included.

Two fund raising events for Acorns Hospice are being held - the first at Busy Bees nursery on Blythe Valley park at 10.30am and the second at Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Mill Lane, Solihull from 4pm.

Upon arrival, clothes/toys are deposited and displayed whilst guests are free to enjoy complementary beauty pampering from local sponsors.

At Busy Bees Heaven V spa for Virgin Active gyms will be providing mini facials, make-overs and goodie bags for all guests and the health and fitness team will be on hand to measure blood pressure, carry out fitness tests and will be handing out free gym passes.

In the afternoon at Gloria Jean’s Coffees, The Body Shop, Scratch bespoke nails and Clarins will be providing complimentary beauty pampering.

The two events are part of Deb’s Clothing Swap, by Deborah Howe, aged 31, from Solihull. Deborah has a young daughter, Caitlin, 16 months, and is aware that growing kids need so many things. Swapping helps to save money, encourages eco-friendly sharing and social networking.

Following the event, all unswapped clothing/toys and proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Tickets cost £5 Deborah on 07941 000 783 or on the door.
