AS WELL as impressing on the field Birmingham & Solihull Bees are receiving their fair share of plaudits elsewhere.

Peterbrook School was the latest venue for Bees' versatile stars who helped introduce 'tag' rugby to youngsters at the school this week.

Community team leader Andrew Daish and team manager Alex Davidson visited the school while Leo Halavatau continued his weekly 'tag' programme on Monday evening.

Powerhouse Davidson praised Steve McGaw for the good work he has done at the school but McGaw couldn't praise the player enough.

"It's a smashing outfit, very professional and we're so impressed with the level of expertise that they bring with them," he said.

"Just in terms of man-power, normally when we have support from other places you might get one person come along but Bees invest two sometimes three coaches here with a group of 15 boys, its very impressive and I know that the children are loving it."
