ARE your taste buds tingling yet? The three-day ‘A Taste of Solihull’ event kicks off in Mell Square next month.
The second annual celebration for food and drink lovers is being organised by the town’s Business Improvement District.
Running from October 5-7, the event will feature live music, special offers, three speciality food and farmers’ markets and wine tasting sessions.
During this exciting culinary event, there will be a myriad of food and drink, from Italian breads and chilli chocolate to local home grown produce on sale.
In Mell Square’s live demo kitchen, chefs from more than 20 restaurants will be taking to the stage, showcasing their skills and latest dishes and offering hints and tips.
Adding extra spice to the gastronomic delights will be themed music and dance performances.
In addition, O’Neill’s and Après will be providing Mell Square with two al fresco bars.
Shirley Sturzaker, director of Solihull BID, said the event built on a highly successful Dining Week that took place last year.
