CYCLESOLIHULL, the local cycling initiative, is launching its new summer programme of Community Cycle Rides this Sunday (5 April) with a five mile ‘Taster’ ride from Dickens Heath library at 2 pm.

This short ride is an ideal introduction to Cyclesolihull rides and is particularly suited for less experienced cyclists and children.

The ride will use quiet country lanes, be at a very leisurely pace, and have a refreshment stop at the Earlswood Craft Centre.

Volunteer ride coordinator Stephen Holt said: “There will be over 40 rides of different lengths over the summer period which we hope will provide something suitable for everyone. This summer we hope more and more people will discover that cycling is both fun and a great way to keep fit. All the rides will be free and any one wishing to join a ride can just turn up at the start point.”

Further information about the new ride programme is available at www.cyclesolihull.org.uk.
