A BUDDING teen model from Solihull has beaten off stiff competition to reach the semi-finals of a UK wide contest.
And now fashion conscious Victoria Newbery, aged 14, needs your help to keep her in the competition.
The St Martin’s School student was ‘head hunted’ at the NEC’s Clothes Show in December. Encouraged to have her picture taken by organisers of the Miss Teen Princess UK Competition, the first time model never dreamt she would make it all the way to the semi-finals.
Victoria told the Solihull News: “I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would get any further in the competition. I just thought I would give it a go for a bit of fun with my friends. The next thing I know I’m getting a letter inviting me to London for a photoshoot which was such an amazing experience.
“I love fashion and photography, and I have been dancing since the age of three. Modelling is not something I had considered before but it is definitely an option now.”
Victoria now needs your help to make it into the final by gaining as many votes as possible.
Mum Liz added: “I am very proud of my daughter and I think it would be a great thing if the community could get behind her and help one of their own get through to the final.”
You can vote for Victoria by going to missteenqueenuk.com or by texting TP37 to 81319 by 11.30pm on January 31.
