Thieves steal distinctive petrol driven remote control car from Shirley home

A DISTINCTIVE 1/5th scale remote control car has been stolen from a Shirley home.

A DISTINCTIVE 1/5th scale remote control car has been stolen from a Shirley home.

The car belongs to Connor Fox, a pupil at Hazeloak School.

Connor, aged 13, has moderate learning difficulties, and is distraught at losing his pride and joy, which is believed to have been taken from a vehicle at his family’s home between March 3-5.

The green coloured powerful remote control car, known as a Yama Buggy, is distinctive in that is it almost two feet long and runs on unleaded two stroke fuel. The theft has been deeply upsetting for the youngster, who is mad about cars and mechanics.
