A THUG has admitted causing £650 damage to an Olton shop after he was refused change for a £5 note.

Solihull Magistrates Court heard last Thursday that Nathan Gayle, 21, of Acocks Green, had entered Gospel Wines on Gospel Lane, at just after 10pm on April 30, and made the request. Gayle had then become ‘very aggressive’ after the shop owner was unable to provide change; kicking a sweet stand, damaged a counter, pulled over a crisp stand and damaging the window

He pleaded guilty and was bailed to appear back at court on July 20 for sentencing.
