A NUMBER of famous names are lining up to appear at the NEC’s Antique Fair.
The annual event will this year be welcoming Paul Kidby, the artist for Terry Pratchett’s best-selling Discworld series, and the Antiques Roadshow’s John Bly.
Paul will be exhibiting some of the sketches for Pratchett’s latest novel – Unseen Academicals.
Bly meanwhile will be chatting to visitors about his latest DVD – Speed Dating Antiques.
There will also be 50,000 pieces to browse – with everything from jewellery to period furniture filling the hall. Some of the paintings are expected to fetch a cool £100,000.
But bargain-hunters should not be dissuaded, with some items up for grabs for as little as a tenner.
The Antiques for Everyone Fair will start next Thursday (October 29), and continue until November 1.
