Top soloist Amy Littlewood to perform with Solihull Symphony Orchestra

SOLIHULL Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Concert features local violinist Amy Littlewood playing Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto.

Amy, who attended Solihull Sixth Form College and whose father plays in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, graduated with 1st class honours from Birmingham Conservatoire in 2010.

The concert also features two wind pieces – the Serenade by Richard Strauss, and King Fergus and the Magic Shoes, a composition by local composer Bob Thomas.

See the show at Shirley Methodist Church on Saturday, June 30, starting at 7.30pm.
