PEOPLE in Shirley have a fantastic opportunity to try some Scouting skills when 7th Solihull Scout Group opens its doors for an open evening to showcase the fun that new Beavers and Cubs can gain by joining in.

There will be a chance to have a go at pioneering, making a friendship bracelet and of course the essential Scouting skill of how to tie a knot.

There will even be a chance to try some outdoors cooking and the whole evening is free for all to enjoy.

Scouting is open to boys and girls from six years old and is a great way for them to make friends and have some fun whilst trying new things and earning badges.

The event is on Monday from 6pm to 8pm at Peterbrook School, High Street, Solihull.

The group has immediate vacancies for young people to join.

If you are interested and want some further information call Diane on 07736 964 410.
