STRANGE lights in the sky were spotted hovering above Dickens Heath on Saturday evening.
A group of friends, enjoying a supper party, spotted the mysterious spheres at 9.15pm. No less than four, yellow objects flew over the village before dissolving into thin air.
One eyewitness, who did not want to be named, said: “It really was an extraordinary experience. There were four of us there and we all saw exactly the same thing.
“The spheres were an intense yellow colour, but there was no sign of landing lights and no sound whatsoever. They came one after another and then they just disappeared. One of my friends is a photographer, but he didn’t have his equipment at the time. It’s a shame – it would have been a real scoop!”
The lights were spotted over a four or five minute period and approached from a south-easterly direction.
And it’s not the first time that residents have spotted something in Solihull’s skies. Last month we reported on the orange-red object which was seen flying over Olton.
