I AM a student in Year 13 at Solihull Sixth Form College and was immediately outraged when I read the letter from Melanie Guthrie in the Solihull News.
I walk through the park and have done every day for more than a year now and I would like to say that the behaviour of college students is, on the whole, good. While I recognise that some students do not always consider those they share Malvern Park with, the majority of students simply walk through the park with friends.
I also refuse to accept Melanie Guthrie’s comment that the park is a ‘no-go area at all times of the day’ - I walk through the park on the way to Solihull during my free periods and rarely see another student! Melanie’s claims are not only exaggerated but unfounded!
