FREE payroll advice will be served up to employers, accountants and visitors at two half day events at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull at the end of the month.
Staff from HM Revenue and Customs will be on hand at the EmployerTalk 2009 sessions offering people the chance to chat face to face with them about the latest news and developments on a range of topics covering payroll.
Specialist advice will also be on hand to help those in the field reduce errors and manage payroll issues more effectively.
Three presentations will be open to the public including Payroll News and PAYE online update, which looks at the online services the government department runs to make life easier for businesses.
Janet Wilkes, HMRC event organiser for EmployerTalk 2009, said: “This is a chance for employers to hear from us and us to learn from employers. Payroll is a key business topic and this event will provide employers with advice on making the process easier.”
“Smaller businesses in particular will be interested in how to get a tax free payment from us for filing their Employer’s Annual Return online using the HMRC’s secure internet service.”
The sessions will be held at the venue on Tuesday March 31 with the first one kicking off at 9am till midday with the second following on the same day at 1pm till 4pm.
Anyone interested in attending should register by telephoning 0845 366 7878 or by going online at www.hmrc.gov.uk/employers/talk.htm.
